  • Social Media Marketing Intern (Spring/Summer 2025)
    About Peachy Day Peachy Day is a migraine care platform dedicated to empowering patients with AI-powered health tracking and other medical & lifestyle interventions. Our mission is to make migraine care more accessible, personalized, and stigma-free. Founded by migraine patients and fierce disability advocates, we are backed by AlphaLab Health, Highmark Health & Allegheny Health Network, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Techstars Founder Catalyst. Role Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to help grow our social media presence on TikTok, Instagram, and Linkedin. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about digital health, women's health, or health inequity. You’ll play a key role in crafting social media content, engaging with our online audiences, and analyzing social media performance. Responsibilities Create engaging short-term video and image content for TikTok, Instagram, and Linkedin that aligns with Peachy Day’s mission and brand voice. Develop and execute content strategies that drive audience growth and engagement. Stay up-to-date on social media trends, challenges, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant. Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions, fostering meaningful interactions with our community. Conduct social listening to identify emerging trends, conversations, and influencers in the migraine and wellness space. Track and analyze performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, follower growth, video views) and provide insights for improvement. Qualifications Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or displays tangible marketing experience Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video trends. Experience with video editing tools (CapCut, Canva, or similar). Excellent written communication skills and ability to engage with an online community. Ability to take ownership of projects and stay scrappy in the face of challenges. Extra Peachy Points Knowledge of migraine awareness, chronic illness communities, or health advocacy. Familiarity with social media publishing or analytics tools. Perks Part-time role with hourly compensation. Location flexibility (in-person at Pittsburgh office, hybrid, or remote). Role Overview We are seeking a Summer 2025 Data Science Intern who is passionate about digital health, women’s health, or health equity to analyze our repository of migraine tracking data, uncover key insights, and develop predictive models that improve our understanding of migraine patterns. This is a unique opportunity to apply data science techniques to real-world health challenges and contribute to innovative solutions in digital health. Responsibilities Analyze user-generated migraine tracking data to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights. Build predictive models to forecast migraine occurrences based on user behavior, lifestyle factors, and environmental conditions. Develop data visualizations that effectively communicate findings. Collaborate with product and engineering to integrate data-driven recommendations into the Peachy Day platform. Present findings and recommendations to the Peachy Day leadership team and advisors. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Information Systems, or a related field. Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and modeling. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment. Extra Peachy Points Passion for migraine awareness, chronic illness communities, or health advocacy. Role Overview We are seeking a Summer 2025 Software Engineering Intern to support the development and launch of new features for our migraine care app, including new health tracking and telehealth features. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful health tech solutions while gaining hands-on experience in software development. Responsibilities Develop and implement new features related to migraine tracking, telehealth, and personalized health insights. Collaborate with our product and design teams to improve the user experience. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices in software development. Assist in testing, debugging, and optimizing the app to ensure smooth performance. Work with APIs and backend services to integrate new functionality. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience with mobile app development (React Native, Flutter, iOS, or Android) or web development (React, Next.js, or similar frameworks). Familiarity with backend development and databases (Node.js, Supbase, Firebase, or similar). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
