It’s Sophia, founder of Peachy Day. Let me tell you a little story.
Last Friday, I woke up feeling so much pain throughout my body that I couldn’t get out of bed. Still, I gritted my teeth and:
Called my partner to bring me water and rescue meds
Slacked my team to reschedule morning meetings
Texted my friend to cancel our dinner hangout
Messaged my parents to vent
We’ve all had those days before. When the pain hits, the last thing you should have to do is explain yourself to everyone in your life, one by one, in the dark.
The pain is one thing. But the communication is its own tax. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a magic button to do it all?
I've been building Peachy Day because I believe people with migraine and chronic pain deserve better tools. And for a long time, I felt like we were missing something. We were helping people track their days, understand their patterns, advocate for themselves at the doctor. But we weren't helping with this: the part that happens in real time, in the dark, when you just need everyone to know and you can't make another phone call.
Peachy Pals: Because every peach needs a pal.
That’s why we’ve built Peachy Pals, headache support that finally includes the people who love you. Add a pal (or two!) and you can:
Alert your whole circle at once, no calls or texts required
Share action-oriented checklists so they know exactly how to help
Allow select pals to see the color of your day, so they always know where you're at
No phone calls, no guilt, no more explaining yourself from the floor. With one tap, your pals will finally show up for you in the ways that truly matter.
I've wanted this feature to exist in our community for years. Honestly, I desperately needed it last Friday. I'm so proud that it's finally here. Add your first pal on the Peachy Day app and try it for yourself here.
Have a Peachy Day,
Sophia
